Wadham College 1610-2010
Edited by Clifford Davies and Jane Garnett

View brochure (pdf)

A great deal has happened at Wadham since Cliff Davies and Jane Garnett produced the first edition of their lively and popular history of the college in 1994. Now as we approach Wadham's 400th birthday in 2010, the college has persuaded Cliff and Jane to produce a fully revised and updated new edition.

The last fifteen years have seen a good deal of work done on various aspects of the college’s history, and the text will be thoroughly revised. There will also be a substantial new chapter discussing the many and often controversial developments since 1970. The original was notable for its illustrations. The new edition will give us the opportunity to include many more.

Wadham College, 1610–2010 will be a book to enjoy and treasure for many years to come. In a special arrangement for this new 400th anniversary edition, subscribers will have their names listed within the book.
