Subscription Publishing

TMI works closely with educational and cultural institutions - including universities, Oxbridge colleges, schools, regiments, heritage organisations, cathedrals, museums and galleries – to create and publish high-quality illustrated books reflecting their spirit, traditions and future vision.

The key to the success of these projects is the involvement of the alumni and constituent members at every stage, from being asked to subscribe in advance of the book being published, to contributing ancedotes, memories and memorabilia for the book itself.

TMI handles all aspects of each project – from creating, funding and processing the pre-publication direct-marketing campaign, through to writing, designing and producing the books themselves and the subsequent fulfilment of orders.

The effectiveness of the TMI subscription publishing model, with response in some cases in excess of 25%, means that each project is produced at minimal risk to the institutions themselves.

“Quite the best sales tool they have ever produced. It makes me proud to be an ex-Bryanstonian and Governor.”
Sir Terence Conran

" The College's beautiful new album certainly sets a new standard for college publications and Clare can be proud of it." Sir Alec Broers FRS, former Vice Chancellor, University of Cambridge
