A richly entertaining and beautifully illustrated portrait of Club life past and present, featuring rare archive images and specially commissioned contemporary photography.
The Cavalry and Guards Club and Third Millennium Publishing are delighted to announce an exciting forthcoming publication, Cavalry & Guards – A London Home, marking the 100th birthday of 127 Piccadilly and the double centenary of the original Guards Club founded in 1810.
To be published in June 2009, this will be a richly entertaining and beautifully illustrated portrait of Club life past and present, featuring rare archive images and specially commissioned contemporary photography.
Along with Club history, architecture and treasures, the book will include images of the vibrant life of the Club throughout the year, ranging from lunches, dinners and dances to key racing, golf, polo and sailing events. But we need your help to make the book a true reflection of the Club and its membership.
